Final Assignment: AI Integrated Writing Worksheet
At last, at last, at long last...
We have reached the end of the semester. I feel absolutely exhausted: mentally, physically, and emotionally... The courses this semester took much more from me than whatever they had offered. And this class is no exception to it.
I wish I could say that I learned many things, but when things are obligations, I can only learn so much...
Okay now, onto the actual assignment.
We were required to design an activity/worksheet/lesson plan that integrated AI use to the lesson. We decided to go with a writing worksheet about the students' opinions on school uniforms. The worksheet activity first encourages forming, analyzing and organizing opinions, then introduces useful vocabulary that can be used during the activity. After that, it makes the students plan and write a first draft of the opinion paragraph, send it to ChatGPT for feedback (with a pre-determined prompt), and write the final version according to the feedback. There's also a reflection part about the AI use.
We used Canva to prepare the worksheet and wrote the ASSURE lesson plan using Google Docs.
